Some time back I decided to test the theory if I could make money from twitter. So I did just that. As a background I had 6500 followers the day of the test, not a big number but hey bigger than 6. This took me 8 weeks to grow and now I am putting on around 1000 a week. Important to note that these are all in my niche. Anyway back to the point.

The test I decided was a simple one. Tweet an affiliate link out. Don’t put the link anywhere else, just on twitter. The final reason is possible the most logical. People have some many tweets, they can only read some of them. I get over 1200 tweets every few minutes, I can’t read them all. So this is reducing the effectiveness of trying to make money on Twitter. But the reason it bombed was simple, not enough tweets. You need to tweet every few minutes to have a great campaign.
