It has been a myth for years that Search Engine Optimization is so hard that only places with special training can do it. These places with this special training then feel they have the right to charge you some astronomical amount of money to get you to page one of Google. Many times over I have got my site to page one of Google all by myself.
So why do these places want you to think it is so hard? Because an entire industry has been formed around SEO and how to do it. The problem? None of these people will tell you what you really need to know? Why? Because people that are SEO experts are also internet marketers. They know once they get you on the hook for one SEO product you will buy more and more from them, thus spending money and never getting anywhere.
I had a friend who had loaned me a SEO course written by Brad Fallon. I was determined to learn so I watched and took notes. At the end of this course I decided that I was going to do whatever it took to be on top. I didn’t care how much money I had to spend, I was going to learn SEO. I was so determined that nothing was going to stop me.
The course disappointed me, however. Though it was presented well, it was the same old stuff I had read on forums and been doing for years. It doesn’t work. There is no magic code you can put in your page, as a matter of fact that doesn’t really even matter. There is no keyword density that is special, and reciprocal linking didn’t work I had been doing that for 4 years.
My determintation did not give up, however, I found a way to build one way links right to my website quickly and easily. I was absolutley astonished upon this discovery which only came to me because I was unwilling to give up. Now I can not only put my sites at the top of search engines, I easily raise my Google PR which everyone wants to do. The keys are to get a lot of backlinks and let the search engines find you.
